Get Image URLs

In this guide we will cover how to determine the URL of images in the Files section. This can be useful for changing the Stock Image of a page, or to link to an image.

Let's begin by clicking on Files in the main navigation.

Now in Files, we must select the folder where the image is located. For this guide we will click the flipbook folder we previously created.

Once the folder is open, we can right click on the small image thumbnail to bring up our browser's menu. In the menu, we click View Image.

The small image will now display in a blank page. In the browser address bar we can see the URL, but this is the URL of the thumbnail that was generated when we uploaded the image, and we want the full-size original image. If you look at the URL we can see it is: http://westar.blazonco.com/images/thumbs/flipbook/new-mall.jpg. In order to see the full-sized image we must remove the /thumbs from the URL and hit enter to reload the URL in the address bar.

We now see the original image, and we have the URL in the address bar. Our last step is to copy the URL to our clipboard by highlighting the URL and hitting Ctrl + C on the keyboard, or open apple C on a Mac. We can now paste the URL into the content editor as needed.
